I want to tell you a story of my father told me. 

A master and his disciple were walking together in the desert. The master was teaching his charge that he could always trust in God, since he was aware of everything.

Night fell, and they decided to pitch camp. The master raised the tent, and the disciple was given the assignment of tethering the horses to a rock. But as he stood by the rock, he thought to himself: The master is testing me. He said that God is aware of everything, and then asked me to tie up the horses. He wants to see whether or not I believe in God. 

Instead of tethering the animals, he said a long prayer, and left the faith of the horses in God's hands.

Next day, when they awoke, the horses were gone. Disappointed, the disciple complained to the master, saying that he no longer believed in him, since God had not taken care of everything, and had forgotten to watch over the horses.

"You are wrong," the master answered. "God wanted to take care of the horses. But in order to do so, he needed to make use of your hands to tether them to the stone."'

မင္းတို႔ကို ငါ့အေဖ ေျပာခဲ့တဲ့ ပံုျပင္ တစ္ပုဒ္ကို ေျပျပခ်င္တယ္။

တစ္ခါတုန္းက ဆရာႀကီးနဲ႔ သူ႔ရဲ႕ေနာက္လိုက္တစ္ေယာက္ တို႔ဟာ သဲကႏၲာရထဲမွာ ခရီးလွည့္လည္သြားလာခဲ့ၾကတယ္။

ဆရာႀကီးက ေနာက္လိုက္ျဖစ္သူကို သူသည္ ဘုရားကို အရာအားလံုးေပၚတြင္ ပံုအပ္ယံုၾကည္သူျဖစ္ၿပီး ဘုရားသခင္အားယံုၾကည္ရန္ ၫႊန္ၾကားဆံုးမေနခဲ့ပါတယ္။ 

ညေရာက္တဲ့အခါ သူတို႔ဟာ တစ္ေနရာမွာ စခန္းခ်ဖို႔ ဆံုးျဖတ္လိုက္ၾကပါတယ္။ ဆရာႀကီးက ရြက္ဖ်င္တဲ့ထိုးရန္ တာဝန္ယူလိုက္ၿပီး ေနာက္လိုက္ျဖစ္သူကို ၎တို႔ရဲ႕ျမင္းမ်ားကို ေက်ာက္တံုးတြင္ ႀကိဳးျဖင့္ခ်ည္ေႏွာင္ထားရန္ တာဝန္ေပးလိုက္ပါတယ္။

ဒါေပမယ့္ တပည့္ျဖစ္သူဟာ ေက်ာက္တံုးေဘးမွာ မတ္တပ္ရပ္မိၿပီဆိုတာနဲ႔ သူ႔ဟာသူ ျပန္စဥ္းစားလိုက္တယ္- ဆရာကေတာ့ ငါ့ကို စမ္းသပ္လိုက္တာပဲ၊ ဘုရားဟာ အရာအားလံုးကို သိေတာ္မူတယ္လို႔ သူေျပာခဲ့တယ္၊ ၿပီးေတာ့ ငါ့ကို ျမင္းေတြကို ေက်ာက္တံုးမွာ ႀကိဳးခ်ည္ထားဖို႔ ခိုင္လိုက္တယ္၊ အဲ့ဒါဟာ ငါတကယ္ပဲ ဘုရားသခင္ကို ယံုၾကည္ရဲ႕လား၊ မယံုၾကည္ဘူးလား ဆိုတာကို စမ္းသပ္တာပဲ။ 

ဒီလိုနဲ႔ ေနာက္လိုက္ျဖစ္သူ တပည့္ဟာ တိရိစၧာန္ေတြကို ႀကိဳးခ်ည္ေႏွာင္ထားရခဲ့မယ့္အစား အရွည္ၿပီး ဘုရားရွိခိုး ဆုေတာင္းပတၳနာျပဳလုပ္ၿပီး ျမင္းေတြကိုေတာ့ ဘုရားသခင္ကို ယံုၾကည္သက္ဝင္ေသာအားျဖင့္ ဘုရားရဲ႕လက္ေတာ္တြင္း အပ္ႏွင္းကာ ႀကိဳးမခ်ည္ပဲ ထားျပစ္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။

ေနာက္တစ္ေန႔ သူတို႔ ႏိုးထလာခဲ့ခ်ိန္မွာေတာ့ ျမင္းေတြက မရွိေတာ့ပါဘူး။ ေနာက္လိုက္ဟာ စိတ္ပ်က္သြားၿပီး ဆရာႀကီးကို မေက်မနပ္နဲ႔ သူဟာ ဘုရားသခင္ကို မယံုၾကည္ေတာ့ေၾကာင္း ေျပာပါတယ္။ ဘုရားသခင္ဟာ အရာအားလံုးကို ေစာင့္ေရွာက္ေတာ္မူတယ္ဆိုၿပီး သူ႔ရဲ႕ျမင္းေတြကို ေစာင့္ေရွာက္ဖို႔ ေမ့ေလ်ာ့ေနတယ္လို႔ဆိုပါတယ္။

"မင္းမွားတယ္" ဆရာႀကီးက ျပန္လည္ေျဖၾကားခဲ့တယ္။

"ဘုရားသခင္ဟာ ငါတို႔ရဲ႕ျမင္းေတြကို ေစာင့္ေရွာက္ခ်င္တာေပါ့။ ဒါေပမယ့္ အဲ့ဒီလို ေစာင့္ေရွာက္ဖို႔ရန္အတြက္ ဘုရားဟာ မင္းရဲ႕လက္ေတြကိုသံုးၿပီး ျမင္းေတြကို ေက်ာက္တံုးမွာ ႀကိဳးခ်ည္ဖို႔ ေတာ့ သူလိုအပ္တယ္ေလ။"
